Just a quick note that the second episode of Fresh Quilting in which I’m featured is available on the website this week! In this episode, I talk about combining paper piecing and improv piecing to make disintegrating designs (and if you’ve been following me for any length of time, you’ll know that disintegration is one of my favorite concepts to play with!).
The episode is #213 – Go Free Form:
Contemporary quilt artist Sylvia Schaefer deconstructs traditional designs and makes them explode into new motifs. Blogger and teacher Christina Cameli shares ideas for making arcs in free-motion quilting. Designer Anna Maria Horner throws the rules out the window with free-form applique techniques to make bouquet quilts.
You can also watch the show on TV—check to see if your local station is airing it here.
