This pattern has been updated and is available in the Flying Parrot Quilts pattern shop.
I love using a paper planner, so I’m very excited to share that I’ve got a pattern in the 2019 Quilter’s Planner. If you’re not familiar with this planner, it’s designed especially for the needs of quilters, with reference pages, pages to track your projects, and much more!
The planner comes with an accompanying magazine that features 13 patterns. My pattern is called Rainbow Arrows. It features two layout options, so you can decide whether you’d rather make a table runner or a table topper!
I made the table runner, but a slight rearrangement of the same blocks gives you a fun square table topper.
I had a lot of fun quilting this runner; I took inspiration from Judi Madsen’s book on quilting secondary designs and used a double batting with wool on top to really make the quilting pop.
I used Alison Glass fabrics for this project, mostly from her Sun Print line.
The gorgeous photos in the planner are all taken by Kitty Wilkin in Maine. (That muffin tho’!)
You can find more information and pre-order your planner here! And follow along to see all the other projects included, too:

This is a stunning design, Sylvia, and I love the texture your quilting adds to it. I just had breakfast but that muffin made me hungry all over again. Ha!
